The main characters are the horses and everyday cowboys Beau has created relationship with. The setting is the majesty of the rugged landscape, which is in turn framed by the permanence of the cycles and the seasons.
One can sense the warmth of a spring day that almosts feels like summer through 'Along the Verde', 2023. Just as powerfully, one can feel the chilly crispness of the air in 'Western Winter', 2010. These works remind us of the eternal nature of time.
Perhaps also influenced by his days of photographing the beauty of the feminine during his days as a fashion photographer, Beau majestically captures the sovereignty of the American cowgirl in 'The World Needs More Cowgirls' as beautifully as the regal 'Life in Wellington', 2024.
Beau's collaboration with write and Director of the hit television series Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan, unveiled the timeless allure of the Four Sixes Ranch, offering an indelible tribute while championing cancer support services. The quiet and dignified beauty of the horse and rider represented in the seminal work, The Four Sixes, 2022, is a special reflection of this time.
